I Can’t Write Articles - What Should I Do?

Owning and maintaining an internet business requires that you have fresh content articles on a regular basis — preferably daily. Articles quench the thirst for information and knowledge that lures your prospects to your site.

So what are your options if you simply hate to write?

To begin, if you don’t want to hire someone to do it for you, you can obtain free articles online. Public domain articles are available for anyone to use. And, you don’t need to worry about copyright issues with public domain articles.

The public domain consists of writings, articles, books, etc. with copyrights that have expired. Original copyrights only last for a specified number of years. When the copyright isn’t extended, due to the death of an author or simply abandonment of the work, the copyright expires and it becomes available in the public domain. These are works that were once published for profit and, as such, grammar and writing is usually of a very high standard. You should check copyright laws in your country for more information.

The downside to public domain articles is that anyone can use them and your competition may have done so already. You may have to edit them a bit to place your keywords and keyword phrases in the appropriate places. Also, make sure that if you use public domain articles they pertain to your niche topic.

You can also let other websites with similar content submit articles and post them on your site. Many bloggers today do what is known as “utility posting” in which they post an intro to a post on another site and link to it. They are using content from other blogs to fill their content needs and linking to the other blog.

Now, you might be thinking — woah, wait a minute, I don’t want to put links to other websites on my site! Well, that’s a little behind the times. That’s exactly what Web 2.0 is all about! Google knows this and is now displaying pages based a great deal on their popularity and link status. Google uses other parts of the website for rankings as well, but remember that social populariaty is of UTMOST importance!

So, forget about keeping all the links to yourself and start sharing as much as you can.

Here’s the best part of this article and the main reason I decided to write it. Due to Web 2.0 popularity, many services are becoming popular that help us all share articles and links. I belong to one that not only sends “unique” articles that I write to approximately 600 article directories and blog sites, but, as a subscriber, I receive as many unique articles every day as I choose. You can also subscribe to simply receive articles if you don’t wish to write.

It’s not expensive and well worth the small monthly fee for the number of links I’m seeing in Google on a daily basis. It’s absolutely the greatest method Im aware of to help share links and obtain unique content regularly. It’s very easy to post to all of my blog sites now. I choose how many articles to receive each day as well as the categories, and, I choose whether or not to put them on my blog. After all, not everyone can write good content! Cruddy writing gets deleted.

And, one more thing I would also like to point out. There are many sites on the Internet that offer Private Label Rights Articles that can published on your site. Some of them are free or have free starter memberships. You can also take credit for writing these articles yourself. If you like, you can rewrite them too. That’s how I wrote this article. I’m pretty good at writing, but the ideas don’t always come quickly. When I start with a PLR article, the ideas flow easier and I don’t have to create all of the original content.
